About the Virtual Academy
PGAVA was established in January of 2010 in order to give all students the opportunity to learn in an alternative setting. It was the mission of the Pine Grove Area School District to invest in its students’ future by providing a different medium to deliver content. As a derivative of our parent school district’s mission, PGAVA always provides an opportunity for ALL kids to succeed!
PGAVA believes that all students have the opportunity learn in a virtual environment. Our virtual environment offers the same rigorous curriculum as the traditional classroom. The only difference is the way the material is delivered. PGAVA staff is dedicated to delivering high quality courses and usually is the same staff that is delivering courses in the Pine Grove Area School District.
