In track and field Dave Fehr won the boys District Eleven, Class Double A, 110 hurdles. His time of 15.92 gave him a comfort margin of only 23 hundreths of a second over the second place finisher. Brady Burke placed second in the long jump and qualified for the state track and field tournament next weekend. Softball was next last evening at Blue Mountain. Keandra Koons drove in two runs to give Pine Grove a 2 to 1 victory over Minersville. Karissa Reeves went two for three in the game , getting a key hit early to set up Pine Groves first score.
