Sophomore Class Officer applications for current Freshman are located in the Main Office.  If you would like to run for class officer please fill out the application and turn it into to Ms. Marterella by next Tuesday. (Class of 2013)

The sports and entertainment management class is hosting a call of duty tournament Saturday may 29th. Time is 12 to 5pm. The Event will be held in the high school cafeteria. 1st, 2nd, and  3rd place winners will receive a prize. Cost is ten dollars a person. Come sign up in Mr. GeorgeŐs room ASAP. (Cardinal Pride)

All you can eat Spaghetti dinner to benefit the Alicia Marie Gurski Memorial Scholarship Fund. Saturday May 22nd from 4 to 7 PM. Tickets are 7 dollars for adults 4 dollars for children under the age of 8. There will also be a Chinese Auction. Schuylkill Gold was the color of the day yesterday. In track and field Dave Fehr won the boys District Eleven, Class Double A, 110 hurdles. His time of 15.92 gave him a comfort margin of only 23 hundreths of a second over the second place finisher.

Brady Burke placed second in the long jump and qualified for the state track and field tournament next weekend.

Softball was next last evening at Blue Mountain. Keandra Koons drove in two runs to give Pine Grove a 2 to 1 victory over Minersville. Karissa Reeves went two for three in the game , getting a key hit early to set up Pine Groves first score. Congratulations to the Schuylkill League Champion Pine Grove Area Softball team.

Anyone interested in running cross country next fall, please sign up in the office.

All track and field athletes.  Your uniforms are to be returned to Coach Kurtz.  Wash them and put them in a plastic bag with your name on the inside of the bag.
