What does it mean to be in County Chorus? Students in grades 8-12 from every school in the county come together to audition for a spot in the county chorus. The top singers in every school will earn a place. PGA students will work on the audition piece with Ms. Pugh at various times leading up to the audition. Transportation is provided to and from every event. When a student scores high enough to be in the group they attend a 4 day festival in February and sing under the direction of a college professor. They attend 2 evening rehearsals during the week and a full day rehearsal on Friday, missing a day of school. The final day of the festival is Saturday which includes a morning rehearsal and a concert for family and friends at 2pm. Dress for the concert is all black.
