• My name is Chris Coombe and I would like to welcome you and your child to the Business Education department at Pine Grove Area Middle School.   

    This is my 14th year teaching; 13th year teaching at Pine Grove.  I am looking forward to teaching your child about the technology world that we live in and how they can be more productive using the different technologies.  Excited about learning, your child will learn about Computer Technology and use their creativity for robotics.  In Computer Science class, we will also introduce and discuss various computer and other technology topics and how to use computers the proper way.  My expectations are high yet attainable.  I am preparing your child to become technology savvy while making his/her learning experience relevant to their everyday life. 

    Your child will be learning many concepts and will be assessed throughout the semester through various types of assignments, projects and tests. The following grading procedure will be used:

    A = 90 – 100

    B = 80 – 89

    C = 70 – 79

    D = 60 – 69

    F = Below 60
