Claire Balmer is the daughter of Allen and Celena Balmer of Pine Grove.

Her high school activities include FBLA (Reporter and Region President), Cardinal Marching Band Videographer, Student Council, Prom Committee, Cardinal Spotlight Theatre, National Business Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and National Honor Society (Secretary).

Claire plans to attend a university to study in a Film and Media studies program and then pursue a career in Film/TV Production.

What it means to Claire to be named January's student of the month:

"Being selected as student of the month is an honor that means a lot to me.  It shows that my hard work and efforts to positively contribute to the school community are being recognized by the teachers and staff.  It inspires me to continue to work hard to achieve other personal goals."
