Title I
Title I is the largest federal assistance program for our nation’s schools. The reading specialists and interventionists in the elementary school identify the students most in need of educational help in reading. The reading program consists of setting goals for improvement, measuring student progress, as well as involving parents.
As a parent, your involvement can boost your child’s achievement. It is up to you to share information about your child’s interests and abilities with teachers, review progress reports on your child, and work with the school to plan and carry out programs. The elementary principal and reading specialists look forward to working with students and parents of eligible students throughout the school year.
We hope to partner with students and parents to instill a lifelong passion for reading and mathematics.
